The BCCSA is seeking a dynamic Executive Director to be the driving force of a non-profit organization who will promote and grow the business of the BCCSA and meet the Council Members’ needs. The ED will be responsible to manage day-to-day operations of the BCCSA throughout BC; develop new programs/initiatives; coordinate and facilitate training; and liaise with clients, prospective members, the Board of Directors and other staff. 

  The Executive Director will possess the following:

• Management and administrative experience
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Understanding and experience of working with business, labour and government
• Working knowledge of the Council’s mission, goals and objectives
• Desire to understand issues related to substance abuse and communicate solutions to member organizations
• Group facilitation experience

This is a one-year maternity leave replacement position. Salary is commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will be required to obtain a RCMP enhanced security clearance. Travel will be a requirement of the position. Position is based in Prince George, BC.
